Things have been off here for awhile. I have felt pretty sick for a few months. I voluntarily gave up coffee in August, just couldn't stand the taste of it anymore and if I do try to drink it now, I lace it with milk. I had a sinus infection that started it all. I was exhausted after fair and it took a lot longer than normal to recover. I guess college hours don't work well anymore when you are 31. I have read more books in the past months than normal, I am taking time for me finally and trying to catch up on down time. The house is a mess - well that is normal, we have 2 very busy kids and a busy schedule.
I finally went to the Dr in September to get some antibiotics for my sinus infection. Apparently I did have one and they insisted I take a pregnancy test just to be safe since I was going to be taking steroids. I told them that I would before picking up the medications because they wanted $45 for me to take one there. Safeway had them for $8.
Soon after I was in Scott's office, asking if I was reading above mentioned pregnancy test(s) wrong. Yep, we are pregnant again. Baby Morrison #3 is due May 11. James is excited. He wants a boy or a girl or a puppy. I still don't know if he really wanted Madilyn to be a Hippo or not but that was his request when she was in the belly. Some days I really do feel like a zookeeper. Madilyn does not understand that not everyone has a baby in their belly but at least 3 times a day pulls up my shirt to pet my belly shouting "a baby" into my belly. She also does this to dad, herself, brother and Ruby the pony at our friends house.
James figured out that I was pregnant long before we planned to tell him. He is very subtle. He kept asking questions like "Mom, do you remember when Madilyn was in your tummy and you were sick all the time?" "Do you remember when I was in your tummy and when you ate I ate your food through my tummy chord?" Finally we did tell him because he was so dead on with his questions. I sometimes dislike the fact that he is so observant and smart. It was pretty neat though that he put it all together himself.
We are just finishing the first trimester. All is well with baby. I'm not shure how three will work, but in all honesty I was not shure how I would handle having one child five years ago.
